To be deemed as a bachelor’s degree in economics, the program must include a minimum of 100 ECTS courses within economics. The following subjects must be included with the stipulated number of ECTS Mathematics 10 ECTS Statistics 5 ECTS Microeconomics 20 ECTS Macroeconomics 10 ECTS Accounting 10 ECTS Econometrics 10 ECTS Finance 10 ECTS Further 25 ECTS within the above economic areas MSc in Economics with or without specialization It is possible to specialize within one of the following specializations: Strategy and Markets Macroeconomics and Development Health Economics Title after graduation; MSc in Economics (Cand.Oecon) Structure of the Master’s Program for MSc in Economics A two-year master-program in Economics with possibility for specialization: Courses at the Master’s Program Three types of courses: Constituent Compulsory Courses: 4 courses. Specialization Courses: 3 courses offered, 2 must be chosen. Constituent Specialization Course : Within each possible specialization (optional). Specialization possibilities Strategy and Markets: The key academic fields will be an understanding of allocative consequences of different market forms and their regulation in different sectors of the economy. Specialization possibilities Macroeconomics and Development: The graduates will obtain advanced knowledge of trends and events in the global economy, related to historical cases, economic growth, business cycle fluctuations, and international economics. Specialization possibilities Health Economics: Key academic fields will be an understanding of resource allocations in different parts of the health care system. Structure of the Master’s Program for MSc in Economics - Finance A two-year master-program. Courses at the Master’s Program for MSc in Economic - Finance Three types of courses: Constituent Compulsory Courses: 4 courses. Constituent Elective Courses: 4 courses offered, 2 must be chosen. Exercises Either in class or in separate exercise classes taught by students. Compulsory assignments (studygroups). Different examination forms. Ordinary written exam, oral exam, take-home exercises. Exchange or Internship Exchange – You can study abroad at the Master’s programme in Economics Relevant on 3. semester SDU International Internship – A possibility for vocational experience! Works practically as courses: Either 10 or 20 ECTS-point Require that another course is followed either in an earlier semester, as a summer course or beside the internship.
