Create Framework Requisition 1. Access the transaction by entering the transaction code: ME51N The following screen will appear: 2. Enter the following values in the corresponding fields: Required Fields Req. Doc. Type 3. Click on User Action Select Framework Req. if needed. The following screen will appear: 4. Click on The following screen will appear: Change to either: Framework Req. for lease of equipment / projects Framework Req. WO for work orders 5. Change the following values in the corresponding fields Required Fields Account assignment category Short text Quantity Uom Delivery Date Material Group Plant PGrp Requisnr. Des. Vendor Porg User Action Enter the corresponding account assignment. This is the type of account to which costs will be allocated Enter description material or service Enter 1 Enter EA Enter end of fiscal year. Example: 09/30/09 Enter or select the material group (commodity code) for the material or service Enter 1099 Enter or select your purchasing group Enter the name or initials of the person entering the requisition (if necessary) Enter or select the desired vendor Enter the purchasing organization 6. Press enter or click 7. The Item Details section will open to Services. 8. Click the tab. Enter the dollar amount in the Overall Limit and Expected Value fields. NOTE: The Overall Limit field cannot exceed the Expected Value field 9. Press enter or click The following pop-up box will appear: Cost Center Project 10. Enter the following values in the corresponding fields: Cost Center Required Fields G/L account Cost center User Action Enter the G/L account number Enter the cost center number Project Required Fields G/L account Funds center WBS Element User Action Enter the G/L account number Enter the funds center number Enter project number (dot) # Example: 12345.6 11. Press enter or click 12. Click the tab. Click the tab. The following screen will appear: 15. Click in the Address field and then click on the drop down icon The following screen will appear: 16. Click on the tab. 17. Click in the Search Term 1 field and type a partial of your department name followed by a *. 18. Enter ME01 in the Address Group field (if needed). 19. Press enter of click . The following screen will appear: 20. Select your address and press enter or click . The following screen will appear: _____________________________________________ NOTE: You will see that the address number you have chosen is in the Address field, but it still shows the original address. _____________________________________________ 21. Press enter or click . The following screen will appear: _________________________________________________ NOTE: A tip to remember – write done your address number on a small note and tape to your monitor. _________________________________________________ 22. If you need to change the Account Assignment, click on the tab. 23. Click on the Account Assignment button appear. Makes changes as necessary. 24. Press enter or click . . A pop-up box will 25.
