INSIGHT Registration and Additional Licenses
Insight Registration
Installing INSIGHT Professional grants you a 30-day temporary license for all Professional features and
functions (INSIGHT will revert to LITE functionality after 30 days). During this time you must register the
product to receive your permanent Professional license key. Simply fill out the INSIGHT REGISTRATION
FORM and fax it to your local Inner Range distributor and your registration key will be sent to you electronically
via email or fax. Please be sure to save the permanent license key number for future use and / or reference.
To avoid delays in processing, please be sure to complete all details before sending.
The serial number is 8 characters normally consisting of numbers and letters. To retrieve the serial number,
use the Insight License Manager to obtain the serial number required for this form and to inspect the status of
your licenses. The serial number is NOT printed on the dongle or the bottom of the Insight box.
Insight Additional Licenses
INSIGHT Professional initially allows connections with one panel and one workstation at a time. To increase
the number of panel and workstation connections additional licenses must be purchased. To order additional
licenses simply fill out the ADDITIONAL LICENSE ORDER FORM and fax it to your local Inner Range
distributor.

The “Advanced Reporting Module” for Insight
Professional replaces the “Time on Site Module”
and contains:
· Time on Site Report
· Muster Report
· Report designer tool
PhotoID is an optional module which allows
“Photograph Identification Cards” to be designed
and printed from within Insight Professional.
The “Time on Site Report” allow operators of the
Insight software the ability to calculate, per user
or employee, the amount of time spent “on site”
and then present this data in an easy to read and
understand report.
This module has been designed to accommodate
configurations consisting of one or many Concept
control modules that require more users than the
maximum allowable memory configuration.
Active User Rotation Module can extend
the number of users much larger than the actual
capacity of the Concept control module. (i.e
Hundreds of thousands)
The “Muster Report” allows one to designate an
area in the system as a muster point, then gives
the last time that each user accessed that area.
The “Report Designer Tool” allows total control
over report output, giving the operator complete
flexibility to generate reports for all requirements.

NVR/DVR units to be interfaced with Insight.

COM Interface Read Only License

Now developers can write COM objects to allow 3rd
party applications such as ERP, payroll systems,
etc. to communicate with Insight and interrogate it’s
database to retrieve Review data and some panel
configuration information.
COM Interface Read & Write License
(Part Number 994417)
The COM R/W Interface has been designed for
developers of 3rd party applications to access and
use data from the Insight server database.
The Insight library is a self-documenting type which
will be familiar to developers who have worked with
COM objects. The interface has been implemented
in such a fashion as to allow the interface to grow as
more requirements come along. The interface has
been designed so that collections of items can be
dropped straight into a high-level language such as
C#.

Dynamic User Import Module

(Formerly Hotel PMS Interface)
This option allows automatic programming of user
information in a panel based on an output file from
a third party system such as a Hotel PMS or an
ERP/HR system. It will require modification to the
third party system such that it can output a .CSV or
.INI file. This file can then be read by Insight and
automatically modify user programming accordingly

This module is a user location module and displays
the location of specific users, or displays all users in
specific locations. It delivers real-time user location
status based on events from the Concept 4000
system or 3 party tracking systems such as the
Multitone EkoTek system.
This module can assist organisations managing
Occupational Health and Safety risks by restricting
access control to areas where employees can only
legally enter. With access granted when a user
holds this valid qualification, or access denied by an
invalid/expired qualification. The system supports up
to eight qualifications.
In addition, users can be given credit points where
access events then decrement these credits. Access
permissions expire when their credit points equal
zero. This credit feature is ideally suited to car-park
applications
