Review of Neuropathy - ICD-9 vs. ICD-10

Review of Neuropathy - ICD-9 vs. ICD-10
In both the ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding manuals, Chapter 6 covers neuropathies. However, the information
varies significantly between ICD-9 and ICD-10. A noteworthy change in the ICD-10 manual is that the
section on “Sense Organs,” which was previously in Chapter 6, has its own chapter — Chapter 7.
Additionally, the section headings and several diagnosis codes have been changed.
