1.
The Director of the year Awards are administered by the Institute of Directors (‘IoD’).
2.
Closing date for entries is 5pm Friday, 17th March 2017 Entries received after this
date will not be accepted.
3.
Shortlisted companies will be notified by Friday 31st March 2017 by Calum
Nisbet. Chairman of the ‘Judging Panel’.
4.
Interviews will take place w/c 5th and 6th April 2017
5.
IoD will appoint a ‘Judging Panel’ to assess the entries, and to draw up a shortlist and
winner in each award category.
6.
The ‘Judging Panel’ will be advertised on www.iod.com/westmids after the application
closing date.
7.
The Judges may contact the applicants for further information and interview, based on
their original submission.
8.
The Judges’ decision is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
9.
All entries must be accompanied by a completed entry form, which will be
acknowledged by email.
10.
By entering you agree to supply any additional financial or other information
requested and entrants’ consent to this information being made available to judges
and third parties associated with the awards process.
11.
The individuals and their companies that make the finals of the awards agree to take
part and assist with any promotional activities or PR in support of the awards, for this
and future awards.
12.
The Judges have the right to withhold an award in any category, if they feel the
entries are not of sufficient merit.
13.
The Judges may reallocate an entry to a different category.
14.
All entries must be submitted via the online application form which is available at
www.iod.com/wmids
15.
No responsibility will be taken by IoD, or any sponsors or companies associated with
the awards, for delayed, lost or damaged entries. Entries are non-returnable, and any
supporting documentation should be copies, not originals.
16.
All applicants to the Director of the Year Awards – UK Finals 2017 must have been
shortlisted in one of the Regional IoD Director of the Year Awards competitions.
17.
By submitting your entry you are confirming that the information it contains is correct.
If the information is found to be inaccurate the nomination will be withdrawn.
18.
The 2017 Awards Ceremony will take place on 22nd June 2017.
