Instructions For Printing Your Cards
These cards are sized for the standard size wooden Montessori materials. If you’ve
purchased your materials from a supplier who has not created the materials using the
Montessori sizing standards then your materials may not fit on these pattern cards.
Check your Print Settings before you start printing! Your Print box/window
may appear different then the picture below.

We highly recommend you print out the sample page (the next page in this file) to
ensure your materials match the cards before you print the entire file.
Things To Consider When Printing
1.
1. All pages of this file should be printed on 8½ x 11 inch (letter size) paper.
2. You can select the pages you wish to print within the Print set-up.
3. You do not want the pages to be scaled or the patterns will not print the correct
size. You want each page to print to the paper size you’ve selected (8½ x 11 inch letter size).

4. Should you need to make adjustments to your printer for paper size, Image Options
(quality of pictures), Layout, etc - you should be able to access those settings through
the Print/Properties settings.

5. If you’ve checked all the settings on your printer and the knobless cylinders
still do not match the printed cards - you can opt to print the cards smaller and have
the children use them as visual cues instead of placing the cylinders directly on top of
the printed cards. You can do this by changing the number of pages that are printed
per sheet - usually within the Print/Properties - Layout. If you have an older model
printer this option may not be possible.
