Summary
In the story, Most dangerous game, the beginning
starts when Rainsford and his friend Whitney are
sailing on the ocean. The conflict starts when Rainsford
hears a gunshot and falls off the boat, he then swims
to a nearby island. When Rainsford arrives he finds a
castle and finds General Zaroff. Later on in the story
Rainsford finds out what the most dangerous game is
and he is hunted by Zaroff. At the end of the story,
Rainsford tricks Zaroff and, kills him at the end.
Conflicts
Conflict : person vs Person
• The conflict is person vs. person due to the
fact that General Zaroff ends up hunting
Rainsford and trying to kill him.
Setting

Types of Characters
- Rainsford is a dynamic character because in the beginning he is a
hunter, but once he becomes the hunted and sees how it feels, he
changes his perspective on hunting.
-Ivan is a flat character due to the fact that he doesn’t play a huge roll
in the story, and he never changes.
- Zaroff is a round character because he has a complex and interesting
personality, but his personality never changes and stays the same
throughout the story so he can’t be dynamic.
