Language Arts
This week we wrapped up Week 2 of Unit 2 All Around Me.
We discussed how we can use our senses to describe things
and finished practicing our poem Guess What I Am! This
week we also focused on matching words with the same initial
sounds. We have also begun Week 3 and The Focus Question
is How can I use my senses to observe science?.
Please continue to practice sight words at home with your
kiddo!
Alphabet Fun
We have wrapped up our letter a day introduction and will
now be focusing more on specific sounds and letters each
week. Keep practicing letter recognition and sounds at home
with your kiddos too. Also, please work on printing first
names using one capital letter and the rest lowercase. Mrs.
Hein’s kiddos received practice pages for this and Mrs.
Jones’ kiddos will get these next week. Keep working on
these skills at home too. 
Halloween Party and Parade
A BIG Thank You goes out to everyone for bringing
in special goodies for our party and for helping to
make it be such a great success. A wonderful thank
you to all volunteers that worked in the classroom
too. Plus, we hope you enjoyed seeing our little
kindergarten kiddos in the parade. 
Math
This week we have been working on numbers 6-9. We have
been playing some math games and next week we will send
home some review games to play at home too. Be on the
