RuggerEds is the UK's first rugby related educational programme specifically designed for 3 to 9 year olds. We
currently teach over 1000 children per week in the Sheffield area running weekend sessions at Forge Valley School,
Barnsley RUFC, Stocksbridge RUFC, Sheffield RUFC, Sheffield Tigers RUFC, Rotherham Titans and 30 after school
clubs.
Sessions are based around a strong ethos of lots of fun and promoting RuggerEds core values of Good Manners,
Respect, Teamwork, Fairplay. Our aim at RuggerEds is not only to improve the children’s motor skills but deliver in
partnership with parents and schools, confident well-mannered active children ready to achieve their full potential.
We are also an approved learning destination for the Children’s University.
RuggerEds code of Conduct for Children
 The Children are expected to shake hands and say good afternoon to coaches and other children.
 When children would like to speak at RuggerEds they put their hand up and wait to be asked by the coach.
 If someone is speaking at RuggerEds everyone has to listen.
 If there is any bad behaviour children will be given a warning. A full explanation will always be given to a child
that has a warning. If a child is given two warnings they will be asked to sit out from RuggerEds for a short period.
RuggerEds register procedure
 RuggerEds must receive a registration form signed and dated before a child can join a session.
 Children will be taken to the school hall at the start of the session for registration.
 All children must be collected from the school hall/playing field and signed out.
 Parents must provide names of all responsible adults collecting your child including on site after school clubs.
 If a child is to be collected by anyone not on the list RuggerEds must be informed prior to the session.
Session detail
The price is £5.00 per session payable in blocks per half term. There is no commitment to continue after each half
term block. We operate on a first come first serve basis with a maximum of 20 places. If you wish your child to
participate please fill in the registration form on the back of this letter and hand it in to school office. Children will
not be accepted until a signed registration form is received. You can join the club mid-term if you miss the start.
Cheques payable to “RuggerEds” for £35 for the next half term (7 weeks) will be due before 31/10/16. Children will
require trainers and outdoor sports kit.

We promote/advertise RuggerEds on an on-going basis which may involve the use of an image of your child. This
could be a photograph, video, DVD or website image. It is a requirement of the Data Protection Act that we have
your consent to do this. We will avoid publication of your child’s name with any images on any of our material /
website / social media etc. I give consent to my child having images taken of them according to the above guidelines.
