Whatisadefaultmatchandhowdoyouenteritonthescoresheet?
Adefaultmeansthematchneverhappenedatennisballwasneverstruck.Whenyouenterthe
score,donotenteranynamesforthedefaultingteam,andyoudonotneedtoenter6-0,6-0.The
applicationdoesthisforyou.
Followthesestepstoenteradefaultmatch:
1)Enterthenamesoftheplayersfromtheteamwhodidnotdefault.
2)Clickthe'default'buttonunderthedefaultingteam.
Whatisaretiredmatchandhowdoyouenteritonthescoresheet?
Aretiredmatchisonethatendsbeforecompletionwithawin,andpoints/games/setshavebeen
played.Thishappenswhensomeonegetshurtoriscalledawaybyanemergency.
EnterthescoresforALLcompletedgames,clickonthe'Retire'buttonfortheinjured(retiring)
team.Thescoreapplicationwillproperlyscorethematch.
Example:TeamAwonthefirstset6-2,wasaheadinthesecondset4-1andoneoftheplayers

acommenttothecaptainwhoenteredthescores.Thecommentwillbeinsertedintothe
confirmationemail.Youshoulddescribeanychangesyouhavemade.Belowisanexampleofthe
emailbothcaptainswillreceive.

Pleasereview.
Oncetheemailhasbeensent,thematchscoresare'finalized'andmaynolongerbechanged.

Bothcaptainsareresponsibletoreviewwiththeinvolvedplayersthespecificsofthematchandthe
detailsofthedisputedscore,priortocontactingheDivisionRep.TheDivisionRepreviewsthe
informationandwheneverpossibleresolvesthedispute.Whenresolutionisnotachieved,the
DivisionRepshallrequirethecaptainstoconferviaemail,untilagreementonthefinalscorecanbe
reached.
BothcaptainsshallofficiallynotifytheDivisionRepofthefinalagreeduponscore.TheDivision
RepwillnotifytheWebsiteCoordinatorofthefinalscoretobeposted.Disputesmustberesolved
withinfive(5)daysofreportingthedispute.
IntheeventresolutionisstillnotachievedtheResolutionCoordinatorshallbecontacted.
WhatifIamnotabletoconfirmthematch?
WhenyouseeViewResultsinsteadofConfirmResults,theothercaptainaccidentallyconfirmed
thescores.
Reviewtheresults,ifyouneedtodisputethescores,contacttheopposingcaptaintoconfirmyour

Clickonyourdivision,log-in,onceopen,clickonViewMatchResults.Thisscreenwilllisteach
matchwithtotalpointsscoredbyeachteam.ClickonMoreDetailsforscoresofeachofthesix
individualmatches.AlsoclickonViewGridtodisplayasummaryofallmatchesplayedsofar.
RESCHEDULINGMATCHES
HowdoIrescheduleamatch?
Beforeattemptingtorescheduleamatch,readthe“ReschedulingofMatches”intheRulesand
Regulations.Pleasenote,“AlackofplayersisnotsufficientreasontorequestaMatchreschedule”.
Ifyoustillfinditnecessarytorescheduleamatch,followthestepsbelow.
1.Starttheprocessassoonaspossible.
2.Youmayrequesta“ClubSchedule”fromtheWebsiteCoordinator,toaidintherescheduling.
3.Notifytheopposingcaptain.Providethemwith3reasonabledates.Makesuretheydonothave
amatchonanyofthedaysyouareproposing.(Iffinding3datesisimpossible,considerplayingon
adifferentdayORatanotherfacility.)
4.Whentherequesttorescheduleisduetoa'facilityrequest',theopposingcaptainMUSTselect
oneofthedates.Whentherequesttorescheduleisduetootherconcerns,theopposingcaptain,is
notrequiredtorescheduletheMatch.
5.Onceanewdatehasbeenselected,notifythefollowingpeoplelistedbelow.Besuretoinclude
thedivision,theteams,theoriginalMatchdateandthenewMatchdateinthenotification.
