Negative externalities, the real evil of goods transport

Negative externalities, the real evil of goods
transport...which can be constrained while
achieving productivity gains !
Since January 1st, TK' Blue offers a new service for multi-accounts
supervision, to the attention of those shippers who run multi-entities,
either on a juridical or geographical standpoint. This service allows
everyone concerned to check the direct relationship existing between
lowering transport costs and reducing negative externalities (pollution,
CO2, congestion, noise pollution, accidents) generated between
subsidiaries or business units. Internal benchmarking is indeed quite an
inspiring source for progress!
On the second quarter of 2017, TK' Blue customers will benefit from
a new service "Actions Plan". This service will enable them, in perfect
cooperation and synergy with their transport providers, to choose, start,
follow-up in time, malware reduction targets in conformity with their
societal commitment.
Everyone involved will be in a capacity to evaluate the facts in terms of
quality of service (punctuality, reliability, safety) and in terms of enhanced
economy performance (abate consumptions, less kilometres, less amount
of time lost,...).
Benefits are in sight and will be simultaneous for shippers, transport
operators as well as citizens-consumers; LET's NOT MISS
OPPORTUNITIES!
The Transport Code is updated: TK'Blue remains more than ever a
suitable solution
"Since 17 January, a new version of the Transport Code has entered into
force. The main objective has been to codify, with constant law, the third
part of the Transport Code regulations, concerning road transport..."

Traffic congestion, a negative externality of freight transport which
cannot be neglected
"Traffic congestion, when speaking of the road transport mode, is the state
of saturation reached by traffic ways. It is important to measure its
impact. Congestion impacts only the users of this specific mode, in
contrast with heavy noise which impacts the whole neighbouring
population and not only the road transport users..."
