Two teams of 6 players will be formed. Players are randomly assigned to either the Red team or the Blue team. The Skyline League Coordinator, Denise Diokno, will be the acting captain for both teams. 8 players (4 from each team) will be scheduled each week. Matches will be timed. The allotted time is 1.5 hours. Play will take place on 2 courts. Each match will consist of a warm-‐up and two 30-‐35-‐minute rounds. Players will be partnered with a teammate for both rounds of the match and will rotate together each round. Each partnership will face a different partnership on the opposing team each round. The partnership with the most games at the end of the timed round on each of the two courts will receive 1 point for its team. If the game score is even/tied, the point will be divided (.5 each) between the teams. So, for each round, a maximum of 2 points is possible. For the entire 2-‐round match, a maximum of 4 points is possible. Regulation tennis will be played with regular scoring. However, you will continue playing games until the rounds ends. You will not play sets. Tennis WinWin will publish the schedule and weekly results, photos, and team standings on the Tennis WinWin website, and send weekly match reminders. Each team will accumulate points each week. Prizes will be awarded to the players on the winning team at the end of the 6-‐week season! We hope that you will enjoy the season, play some great competitive tennis, and be prepared to join a USTA league in the future!
