It is suggested that a parent, guardian, or adult designee attend orientation with their student on the 23rd, but it is not required. LVHS Orientation 9th Grade 9th Grade Date August 22, 2016 August 23, 2016 Location and Time LVHS Auditorium 8am-11am (students only) LVHS Auditorium 8am-11am (parents and students) Orientation on August 22 will consist of a welcome by the principal, sessions on school culture and team building, as well as a short bonding activity for students to get to know one another and the building prior to the start of school. Orientation on August 23 will begin with presentations and activities on college and career readiness and getting involved in sports and clubs at Lake View, followed by rotating stations that include paying fees, completing required paperwork, and supports offered to ensure your child has a successful transition to Lake View High School.
