New stall holders are welcome to come on the morning & register; they must have
public liability insurance; food must be approved one week in advance

Stallholder car entry: Arrival at Doepel Way then turn left wait in line on Caravel Lane, food stalls
first at 8:30am variety stallholders at 8.45am No entry before Market Coordinator arrives cars then
placed in order stays in line in parking position do not block entry to apartments Until 9.am then
directed to enter via St Mangos Lane ’ ushered by coordinator placed in a 3X3 space position on New
Quay promenade if position needs changing it will be at the discretion of the market manager and is final.
When driving on St. Mangos lane & Promenade hazard lights must be on car move at walking pace to
allotted space , cars parked parallel to water as close to raised barrier as possible, stallholders must not,
under any circumstances, embark or disembark or unload on water side to do so is at your own risk No
admittance after 10am.. T r a d i n g s t o p s a t 5 p m Clean-up 1 hour after without exception.
Stallholder’s, Display of goods and operation shall be confined to 3X3 space with car at back no
gaps between cars, s t a l l s will not encroach on boardwalk or other Stall Holders also gazebo to be in
line with boardwalk leaving the boardwalk clear for pedestrians. No exit before 5pm when market
finishes
Market Cancellation or Early Finish: the Market coordinator will make and advise this decision which
is final, and will only be made in extreme circumstances.

Payment & Refunds: Payments required in advance securing a 3x3 stall space which includes
one car space at rear of stall. Payment is $65 $30 for extra space, A $10 discount applies when
paid in advance by Wednesday of Market week the $55 pre-paid bookings can only be moved
once when advised 3 days prior to market. A special monthly fee of $45 per Market when
booking all 4/5 Sun total payed a month in advance 4-$180 5-$225 not transferable, no refund

Food Registration: Some takeaway & producers allowed, food stalls are obligated to list either
gazebo with ground cover or trailer drip tray under food cooking appliance. Council require for
food operation, Fire extinguisher and fire blanket, Food Safety Program available and kept on
site, high risk food stored at ambient temperature, hand and utensil wash basin with hot
water take home waste water. On application provide copies Local City Council registration.
Food Handling Certificate & Public Liability insurance, Streatrading certificate SOT from
https://streatrader.health.vic.gov.au; Compliance certificate checklist from Energy Safe Victoria
www.esv.vic.gov.au; Ph. 1800652563 dated leads or gas bottles

Safety & Appearance: stallholders must ensure all their display equipment, tents, tables, are Securely
fixed sandbags or 20kg weights per leg each car must have a drip tray under the engine in case
of oil leaks. Stallholders are requested to maintain their stall in a clean and tidy manner and must take
home all unsold items, boxes, paper and wrapping
Alcohol: consumption of alcohol is prohibited within the Market.
Must not be sold under any circumstances: pets or fish, ANY COUNTERFEIT or COPIED or STOLEN or
illegal goods, tobacco, firearms, explosives, poisons or pornography, alcohol, electrical goods or CDs cannot
be sold. Stallholders are responsible for complying with laws and regulations relating to goods for sale

The Market Management reserves the right
To refuse admission to the Market without giving reason to stallholder or to eject or cause to be ejected any
person goods and chattels. This decision is final and binding. Stallholders are responsible for complying
with all laws, rules and regulations relating to goods/food if allowed to be offered for sale

Insurance: All stallholders must have $10,000,000 Public Liability Insurance cover
The Market Management shall not be liable for any person using these premises for personal injury or loss
of or damage to stock whatsoever whether by negligence or otherwise incurred or suffered by that person.
The Market manager has insurance over the market not for stallholders
