TERM 2 HOME LEARNING:
WEEK 2: DUE TUESDAY 2nd MAY
1. ANZAC DAY TASK: Please read instructions on the ANZAC Day document below. There is also a copy
of the document on the ANZAC Day blog page. You can type your answers on a Google Doc and share it
with Miss Smith OR you can type your answers in a comments box on the 4CS Blog (ANZAC Day
page). You must number all of your answers, proof read your final responses and complete the task to a
Grade 4 standard.
2.READ! READ! READ! Minimum of 5 nights per week. Minimum 15 mins per night. Remember that you
should also have an adult read to you at least once a week. Don't forget to fill in your diary & circle your total
number of reading nights.
3. MATHS: Continue to learn your 6x tables. If you already know them, learn any multiplication table that
you don't know yet. Please note- there is no expectation for you to know the 6x tables by next week. It is just
a guide for those students who need to learn quite a few tables. Always choose a multiplication table that
you are not confident with. It is an expectation that you know all of the tables up to 10x10, by the end of the
year.
4. SPELLING: Learn your 5 personal spelling words in preparation for the spelling test next week. You may
choose to learn them
