Job Overview
The purpose of the Player Ambassador is to interact with all customers in a professional and
courteous manner while starting and monitoring course play. Player Ambassadors are the
connection between the Golf Shop and the Player out on the golf course. Their focus is to make
constant contact offering to provide services for the guest.
General Responsibilities







Meet and greet all customers in a warm friendly and welcoming tone, and provide all
customers exceptional customer service.
Has a good understanding of the rules and regulations of the game of golf and proper
course etiquette.
Responsible for getting players started on time and maintaining speed of play on the
course.
Supervision of the putting course.
Assist Golf Shop in ensuring smooth operation and traffic flow on the course.
Responsible for driving the course and managing play and etiquette on the course.
Maintaining contact and communication with guests.
Job Qualifications
Education:
 High school diploma or equivalent.
 Experience in a retail environment.
Experience:
 Must have good understanding of golf rules and regulations.
 Ability to communicate with customers and fellow associates in an effective and
professional manner.

This position does represent the company in handling complaints, arbitrating disputes or
resolving grievances, as a Golf Guest Service Attendant you will be expected to work with guests
and visitors to ensure satisfaction. A Golf Guest Service Attendant will have to take initiative
and get creative in resolving guest challenges and involve a supervisor only when previous
methods have been unsuccessful.

 Able to reach hands and arms in any direction and kneel, stoop or crouch repeatedly

 Varying schedule to include evenings, holidays and extended hours as business dictates
