Flexibility in the water – Ariana rotation
1 judge (F) is required to signal 5 seconds to swimmers.
A panel of 3-7 judges will evaluate the 3 splits (one mark for
following standards:
 Flat, perfect, no leg/feet rotation, crotch dry, square hips
 Flat, slightly rolled out, hips off-line
 Flat, but slight wash-over crotch
 Flat, but slight wash-over crotch (up to 5 cm)
 Hips off-line, wash-over (up to 5 cm)
 Wash-over (up to 10 cm)
 Hips off-line, wash-over (up to 10 cm)
 Wash-over (up to 20 cm)
 Hips off-line, wash-over (up to 20 cm)
 Wash-over (up to 30 cm)
