Objective:
I will annotate the text and
prepare questions for a Socratic
Seminar.



Use the friendly letter format included in your
portfolio – you do NOT have to include your
address
Your letter must be a MINIMUM of 3 paragraphs
Each paragraph must be a MINIMUM of 3
sentences
◦ Paragraph 1 – Thank Mrs. Nelson for giving her time to
speak to the class
◦ Paragraph 2 – Summarize the main ideas that you took
from her presentation
◦ Paragraph 3 – Explain how to plan to use her advice to
help you be successful
You will have 20 minutes of class time to write
your letter. If you do not finish in class, IT IS
HOMEWORK DUE TOMORROW!!!
