Our basement space would
not have been complete without
a bathroom, Saniflo made it possible.
Incorporating a basement living space into their home was a dream for
this Sydney family.
“We wanted a basement for cars that would also double as a hangout
room for the kids” said the family. “Initially we weren’t worried about
installing a toilet but as we started spending more time down there we
quickly saw the need for a small bathroom to complete the space.”
The only problem was they were several metres below the nearest
sewer point which meant traditional gravity flowed plumbing was not
an option.
That’s when they discovered Saniflo.
A Sanicubic 2 lifting pump allowed them to take all of the waste water
from the bathroom and pump it up to the nearest sewer point. With
the capacity to lift 10m vertically, or push 100m horizontally, or lesser
combinations of both, the Sanicubic 2 was well within its limits.
Now that gravity wasn’t an issue the family could complete their
perfect basement space. “We’ve had it for about three years and
haven’t had any issues” the family added. “Saniflo really fixed our
problems because without a pump we wouldn’t be able to have this
facility down here.”
