Tournament Details
BJFF’s Annual Girls’ football tournament will take place on Saturday 30th May 2015. As with last year’s
successful event, where we welcomed a record 121 teams from across the country, we will be running tournaments
for ALL Age Groups from Under 9’s to Under 16’s inclusive.
Please note the age groups used in our tournament will be the age groups for the 2014/2015 (CURRENT) season.
The tournament will be held at our home ground, on Bispham Gala Field, off Kelvin Road (postcode FY5 3AG).
Directions will be issued to all confirmed entrants, via our comprehensive Tournament Welcome Pack.
There will be a full programme of entertainment throughout the day, with catering facilities on site serving hot and
cold food and drinks, ice cream, sweets, plus inflatables, bouncy castles, speed gun challenge, beat the keeper, hair
and face painting, and an on-site photographer, with pictures available to purchase throughout the day.
We will have qualified officials to officiate in ALL games and remind you that each team manager is responsible
for all of its players, coaches and spectators. Any disputes will be settled by the Tournament Coordinator.
Under 9’s, Under 10’s, Under 11’s, Under 12’s, Under 13’s, Under 14’s, Under 15’s and Under 16’s
Competitions (ALL 7-A-Side)
There will be a maximum of 24 teams per age group in ALL AGE GROUP Competitions. Teams will be split
into groups with each team playing each other. The tournament will be played in accordance with the FA
guidelines for mini soccer. A maximum of 4 teams per club per age group will be allowed to enter and each team
can register a maximum of 14 players. Players may only play for one team throughout the competition.
The winning team in EACH age group will be presented with a Winner’s trophy, with all players participating in
the final receiving a trophy or medal.
NOTE! – The format will be flexible for different numbers of entries, but our overriding principle will be to ensure
the Girls play as much football as possible.
If you wish to enter any of our 7-A-Side competitions, please complete the entry form (page 2) and return to our
Tournament Coordinator, Andrew Griffiths, via e-mail or at the address below. E-mail applications received
without the entry fee will be held for a maximum of 7 days. On receipt of your entry form and entry fee, Andrew
will be in touch to confirm your place.
NOTE! - Payments are possible via BACS bank transfer – if you would prefer to pay by this method, please liaise
with Andrew for our bank details.
