LET’S PLAY BALL!
Youth Baseball of Southwestern Colorado has been
sponsoring amateur youth baseball leagues for Durango and
LaPlata County boys and girls for nearly 20 years.
YBSWC invites all area youth to come and learn how to play
“America’s pastime” in a fun, rewarding atmosphere. As a
charter member of Little League International, YBSWC offers
divisions for boys and girls ages 5-14. Divisions include:
Tee-Ball, Machine-Pitch, Minors, Majors, Juniors.
Registration will be open online March 4-March 21 at
www.durangobaseball.org. Walk in registration will be held
March 20, 6-8 p.m. at the LaPlata County Fairgrounds.
Please remember to bring a copy of your child’s state birth
certificate, as well as proof of residency (residing within the
9R school district).
YBSWC encourages players to register online. Registering
online aids in information and league/team management.
Late registrations are subject to a $50 late fee.
Skills Day will be March 23 at the LaPlata County
Fairgrounds (weather permitting).
All players are required to participate (except Tee-ball).

will take place
March 4-21 at

runs May 4-June 15*. Every
team will play at least 12
games. Games are played
in Durango, Bayfield,
Ignacio and Cortez (TeeBall does not travel).
The City Tournament is
June 17-26*.
