Job Description
Job Title: Assistant Coach
Job Purpose: To assist the head coach at Alpha Netball Club
Rate of Pay: £10-20 per hour dependant on the experience and qualifications of the
candidate.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
 To assist the head coach in delivering weekly training sessions throughout the
season
 To deliver (and where necessary, design) quality coaching sessions
 To attend club matches, where possible, on a voluntary basis (travel expenses may
be covered)
 To assist with player selections at club trials, and help to make squad selections
where necessary during the season
 To support the club in achieving their performance based targets
Essential Skills/Qualifications
 UKCC Level 1 Coaching Award in Netball*
 Valid First Aid Certificate
Desirable Skills/Qualifications




UKCC Level 2 Coaching Award in Netball
C Award (or higher) Umpire
Experience of coaching adult netballers
Playing experience
*If a candidate has playing experience to a high level or is from oversees a Level 1 may not
be essential
