The concrete-side surface of the girder formwork must be prepared in
a clean and oil-free manner without any release agent residues and
must be covered immediately before placing with a CPF liner to be
delivered in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications.
CPF liner for improving the concrete in the cover zone by means of
reducing the water/cement ratio for one-time use.
The following values will be improved demonstrably by the liner:






Carbonation resistance
Frost/thaw resistance
Surface tensile strength
Surface hardness
Reduction of the water penetration depth
Reduction of the chloride penetration depth
No release agent must be used.
Selected liner: Zemdrain® Classic
from Max Frank GmbH & Co.KG or equivalent.

(Alternative products must achieve the same improvement values at
least, the values must be demonstrated.)
Install the liner as follows:
Tension and attach the liners in accordance with the manufacturer's
specifications.
All formwork joints must be sealed carefully according to the
specifications of the liner manufacturer.
The formwork must be covered at higher temperatures than during the
concreting process.
The lined formwork should be the final element of the formwork to be
erected in order to keep the period till concreting as short as possible.
The formwork around the components must be removed after ____
days.

Option 1
The liner is to remain attached to the concrete component for another
____ days ( max ____ ) for protection purposes and is to be covered
with PE film additionally.
Option 2
The liner must be removed together with the formwork.
The liners must be disposed of after having been removed, re-using
the liners is expressly prohibited.
