PPD Extreme-Team Remote "League Promoter" Rules and

PPD Extreme-Team Remote "League Promoter" Rules and Information
Who can Promote a League?
Any PPD sanctioned player in good standing who is participating in the league they are posting
to promote and whom has established a PPD player account with profile.
This includes PPD members and their employees who throw darts.
What kind of league can be promoted?
Any type of remote league in any combination consisting of:
Open, Mixed, Male or Female,
Doubles, Triples, Four-person,
Handicapped or Non-handicapped,
Capped or Non-capped.
Once a league of any type is posted it must be ready to start before an identical league may be
posted. Additionally, an identical type of league may not be posted one hour before or after any
day/time slot, without PPD staff approval or until the previously posted league of the same type
achieves ten (10) teams and is set to start..
What are the prizes?
A) Prizes such as Lady Bligh Rum or Pearl Vodka jackets, shirts, hats and other fun branded
items. Additionally, tournament entry fees and other travel expense reimbursements may be
offered from time to time. All prizes will vary from time to time. Please see the latest prize
offerings as shown on the "Post a League" link. All prizes are mailed U.S Mail to the Team
Captain's address as provided in the Captain's player account/profile and after four to six weeks
of league play. Prizes are mailed to the original team members only - as listed on the original
team registration. Prizes that are returned due to bad addresses are re-shipped at the expense
of the team.
B) Extreme-Team Bonus points with larger leagues earning more bonus points.
Standard Bonus Points opportunities as follows:
Minimum 6 teams required = 6 bonus points.
7 teams = 7 bonus points,
8 teams = 8 bonus points,
9 teams = 9 bonus points,
10 teams = 12 bonus points.
Note 1: some leagues or day/time slots may be offered more bonus points from time to time when
involved in "special promotions". Special promotions are announced on our Facebook page(s) and
posted on our "Post a League" page as well.
Note 2: E-T League Promoter Bonus points are capped annually at 10% of total league points. This is to
ensure no one player has too much advantage form bonus points while still rewarding those who
promote E-T remote leagues.
Half the bonus points are awarded to the League Promoter at the start of the league when the league is
posted to the stats and schedules page. The second half of the bonus points is awarded at the end of
the league when payouts are processed and contingent upon all teams completing the league for the
League Promoter to earn all the points for the league. Bonus points for leagues with less teams at the
end are adjusted to reflect the correct total for the league. For example, a league that starts with 10
teams, but ends with 9 is awarded 6 bonus points at the start of the league and 3 bonus points at the
end of the league for a total of 9 bonus points. If the league ends with the full 10 teams, then 6 bonus
points is awarded at the end of the league for a total of 12 bonus points.
The 2015 rank list will reflect the bonus points being added to league points then multiplied by the
tournament points.
How long is a League promotion allowed?
Promoted leagues must start within 30 days to earn all of the prizes for the League
Promoter. Promoted leagues that extend beyond 30 days without reaching six (6) teams or more to
enable the league to start are converted to “house leagues” with no prize or award to the League
Promoter.
Teams that have been posted on the grid more than 30 days are contacted to ensure they desire to
remain on the grid for the selected league.
How is a League Promoted and who monitors the promoting?
Players may use their fb page, our Fb page(s) and whatever other means they choose.
The PPD does not monitor the process other than the dates as explained above if beyond 30 days.
The date each league is posted appears on the grid to enable everyone to know where they are in the
process.
