Christmas AUE games day (2009/12/15)
1. Christmas House CP1*1

Different pictures with numbers are hung inside the Christmas House. Aunties or Smarties will
give the students a number and ask them to go inside the House. They need to find out the picture
that matches with the number.
(聖誕尋寶屋 : 義工請學生到尋寶屋裡找尋一個數字, 屋裡數字咭上有一圖畫。)
2. Christmas tree (make a wish)
Students can write some words to make a wish or draw a picture on a small piece of paper. Then
they stick the piece of paper onto a Christmas tree.
許願聖誕樹 : 在心意咭上寫上聖誕心願或祝福, 然後將心意咭貼上許願樹。
3. Finding Santa Claus
There are different numbers of Santa Claus hidden near some specific places (with pens).
Students will get a game sheet and try to find out the numbers of Santa Claus at the particular
places. Aunties and Smarties will set up some counters to check the answers on each sheet.
聖誕老人有多少？: 跟據遊戲紙上的問題，到不同地點找出有多少個聖誕老人，記下答案，完成後到義工櫃臺核對答
案。
4. Where will Santa Claus go to?

There is a world map board. Students roll a dice, move Santa Claus according to the number on the
dice and see where does Santa Claus stay. Student reads aloud the name of the country.

5. Link the words

There is a small board with words. Link up the words together with a string.
連字版 : 把板上的字用線連在一起。
6. Catch the word

There are many Christmas word cards on the big piece of paper. Three students play this game
together. Smarties or Aunties will read out a word and the students try to find the word on the
paper and touch it with a stick as quickly as possible. The winner is the one who can touch the word
first.
手快者得 : 三位學生聽義工讀出英文字, 然後盡快在字堆中找, 快者一分, 三盤兩勝。
7. Puzzle

Pictures of Christmas are cut into pieces. Students have to fix them as soon as possible. After
that, they have to find the correct name for them.
砌圖遊戲 : 在限定時間内把圖砌好。
8. Word search

Aunties or Smarties ask the students to circle the words written on the word sheet.
文字迷宮 : 按義工要求在文字迷宮中尋字。
9. Picture-word matching

Four pylons and some pieces of strings will be used to make a square of 15 ft x 15 ft. Eight students
are invited to play the game at one time. They are given four pairs of words and pictures. Then
they need to stand inside the square near to the border without looking at each other.
Aunties or
Smarties will give a signal to start the game. Then the students turn around and try to match the
words with the pictures. The pair who is the first to match the word with the picture wins.
糖黐豆 : 四張圖咭、四張字咭分派八位學生, 八位學生隨機分站在場内, 聽義工的開始信號, 最快完成圖咭字咭配對
為勝。
