South End Zone Complex at MM Roberts Stadium

South End Zone Complex at M. M. Roberts Stadium
he South End Zone Complex, which is scheduled to begin
Tconstruction
in the Spring of 2006 and be completed by the
2007 football season, is comprised of five separate levels,
adding a new dimension to the stadium, as well as the Golden
Eagle game day atmosphere at “The Rock.”
The new edifice will include different types of seating, luxury suites, a Roof Top Plaza, locker rooms for officials and visiting teams and space for an academic center. A new, state-ofthe-art scoreboard with video display capabilities may also be
erected over the top of the south end zone complex.
Additionally, the Eagles’ Nest will be added on the east side
of Roberts Stadium. It will include a new club-level premium
seating area and will offer the ultimate in seating luxury for
those who do not desire private suites, but are looking for an
enhanced game-day experience.
East Stadium Club/The Eagles’ Nest
The second phase of the stadium transformation will
include the renovation of existing restrooms, concession
areas and the press box. The timetable for this phase has
not been set at this time.
All of the renovations and amenities will help “The
Rock” increase its reputation of having an outstanding college atmosphere, while also being
one of the toughest venues for visiting teams.
