recorded all Birth Certificates of proof of age received , Lacrosse Victoria will provide a
list to each club of junior members in the data base who have not yet provided LV with a
copy of proof of age. All these who are current players, plus any new Junior Players,
must submit proof of age by 1 June 2011

Score Sheets & Team Ground Inspection Reports

Please note that fines, as in previous years, will apply for failure to meet these
deadlines.
Failure to meet these deadlines results in incorrect ladders (as these cannot be
generated until all scores are entered) and statistics. It is also noted that considerable
extra work is also required by the website administrator. If you experience any website
entry issues please contact the LV office in business hours.
Transfers/permits
Men’s & Women’s Transfer/Permit forms are available from the Lacrosse Victoria
website.

If a player transfers from one club to another, once the transfer is approved,
the new club must make a request to the website administrator,
[email protected], to have the player transferred to the
new club. Do not enter the player as a new player.

If a player receives a permit to play with another club (women only), the club
she is permitted to must contact the website administrator to allow the player to
be permitted to play with the second club. Do not enter the player as a new
player
Please note, players will not able to be transferred or permitted on the sporting pulse
data base until their application to transfer/permit has been approved
Entering club statistics

The team statistics entered on the data base must be accurate for that day’s
game. Many clubs use the rollover facility in the Sporting Pulse database each
week however the team list must be amended to those players who played &
were listed on the score sheet.

In the case of a team giving a walkover, that team cannot list a team however the
team receiving the walkover can list a team of those players who would have
been available to play if the walkover was not received. (Please note they cannot
then be listed on the Team sheet for another club team or play in the same round
for any other senior club team or in the case of juniors, for another team in the
same age group.

Lacrosse Victoria relies on the data generated from the Sporting Pulse database
for its statistical records and for charging fees.

In prior years the office has identified many instances of players being entered
twice or more in the database, often with slightly different spellings of names.
Clubs were requested to fix these errors but, unfortunately, some still remain

There were also many instances where clubs entered players on Sporting Pulse
as playing & also sometimes on scoresheets, when they had not played.

In 2011, the Sporting Pulse data will be taken as fact & no reductions in fees will
be made for players incorrectly entered in the data base.
