Import data:
Make sure have product ID.
If with header, skip the first row.
Want replace data, check replace the data.
Can’t have any highlights
Conclusion of use is at the bottom of this file
Project 123:
A
1. Change database ‘Product’ what to be seen, ‘order detail’ add product sku, try
to make sku to lead to ID and product name. change shipper from # to name
2. PHP: hide unwanted tables, make sure can link to product table (unwanted:
car1, car2, )
3. Each branch type their orders, not seeing other store orders.
Experiment: try to make SKU as primary key and upload without ID, see if inventory will be
updated by SKU
 If make SKU ‘primary key’ the ID will keep increasing… (ID:33 34 35..)
 Form has to be exact, can’t miss any column
B
Experiment: try to make SKU and ID both ‘primary key’ and upload without ID, see if inventory
will be updated by SKU  If make SKU ‘primary key’ the ID will keep increasing… (ID:33
34 35..)
C
Experiment: try to make SKU‘primary key’ and no Product ID column, see if inventory will be
updated by SKU
D
Next
 Inventory updated by SKU, no ID problem nor the increment problem
 Can we use order and order detail to deduct????????
Experiment: take out ID ‘auto-increment’ from database and repeat the experiment A.
 Product ID becoming ‘o’……. no good……
1. Create tables under suppliers. Each table and each supplier. Suppliereach
logineach table; main login see all tables and withdraw, then update to
necessary system. ( resize the photo to 100x100)
2. Inventory deduct when type an order
3. ‘auto look up’ (SKU or product name) when type ID
4. GD2 libraryUpload file (image)
5. Making it a ‘APP’
GD2 Library:
1/12/2014, from public_html (luxconne) I modified php.ini
Line: 871
1. We now still use ‘resized100’
file to store smaller images to
show on this website
2. I found bluehost have ‘image
manager’ to scale
Open your PHP.ini file in Notepad, or your preferred WYSIWYG editor.
This file is normally located in the C:\Windows\ directory.
Locate the following line.
;extension=php_gd2.dll ( I took out;) still fail, image won’t show
Remove the preceding semicolon (;) to enable the option.
Save your file.
Restart the web server.
Bluehost ‘image manage’ function
1. Thumbnail : will create a subfolder ‘thumbnails’ and add ‘tn_’ in front of image name. Not
change original image file but will create a new image.
Thumbnailing.../home4/luxconne/public_html/upload/Earrings14new/ER-BOW3PL-3.jpg
(2500x2500)...wrote.../home4/luxconne/public_html/upload/Earrings14new/thumbnails/tn_ER-BOW3PL-3.jpg
(625x625)...Done
2. Image scale: change actual size (no good)
Use photo resizer and create ‘ resized100’
http://www.luxconnection.com/upload/resized100/Earrings14new/ER-BOW3PL-3.jpg
Need to resize  upload to right folder
Change how function is displayed on the page:
Have to fill out the information as the graph
Upload file to database:
(300x 300)
1. Shrink image size to ‘sized100’ folder, 100x100 pixel
2. With exactly header in database (w. w/o product ID) to import data and image link to
‘resized100’ for desired images. If use original comes from office template, image will show
exactly size (too big)
3. Export with php function to excel or pdf on desire
Not working
Turn on php.ini >line 871, remove ;
Not working
Not working
Not working
Remove image 3 as the ‘upload’ image from database, filesize, filewidth, all remove
Add ‘reize’ image on image 3, the upload one, see if it affects the whole table
Not working
only set in advanced setting, not set in
tables
Try with luxconnection.com/567/567
Not working
Try with luxconnection.com/888
Not change setting: upload fileuploads/
Advanced setting : thumbnail 0
Try with luxconnection.com/888
Not working
change setting: upload fileuploads/resized100/
Advanced setting : thumbnail 0
Try the setting: upload file upload/resized100
Solution for the image resize:
If you check the src of the image, you'll see that it is like:
ewbv10.php?fn=http://www.luxconnection.com/upload/Necklace8/1/NCK-NENE1.jpg&width=0&height=0
That is because your database store the absolute path
"http://www.luxconnection.com/upload/Necklace8/1/NCK-NENE-1.jpg".
However, PHPMaker scripts expect files uploaded by the scripts and the path
is RELATIVE TO APPLICATION ROOT (see PHP Settings -> General Settings > File Upload in the help file). So your database should store a path relative
the app root such as ".. /upload/Necklace8/1/NCK-NENE-1.jpg".
Since your webroot is http://www.luxconnection.com/888 which is at the same level as
the upload folder, it is recommended that you set your application root one level higher than
the destination folder (see Generate Settings in the help file), then you your database
should store a path relative the app root such as "upload/Necklace8/1/NCKNENE-1.jpg".
PHPMaker12, I was also having image resize problem since the extension is no longer available and it’s
integrated in the template.
Hello Support,
Thank you for viewing this email. I am having a serious problem on image resize of PHPMaker12.
I have confirmed that my GD library is enabled from phpinfo.php. And the images from your Demo12
project are showing correctly.
However, the image is not showing with my table [AllProductCost] as I named them [ImageURL1]
The project is under http://www.blingblinglady.com/567
This is my 2nd time purchasing this license and funny thing is that I always have image problem X_X
Please disable the option "Encrypt file path" in [Tools] -> [Advanced Settings] then generate the files
and try again.
If you need "Encrypt file path" for other normal file upload fields, you can setup the "Custom View
Tag" for this particular field with your own HTML markup. For example:
<a href="<URL>"><img src="<?php echo(CurrentPage()-><Field>->CurrentValue) ?>"></a>
Please read the examples in help file topic: "Project Setup" -> "Field Setup" -> "Custom View Tag"
for more information.
