Each Team will be guaranteed 3 Matches
Pool Play Will Consist of 2 Games to 25 [Rally Scoring]
First Team to 25 Wins…Winner Does Not Need to Win by 2
Play-offs will be 2 out of 3 Format (Rally Scoring win by 2)
Illinois High School Rules Will be Used Unless Otherwise Specified
Awards will be given to 1st and 2nd place teams (individual t-shirt)
All Equipment to be provided by Saints Peter & Paul School and/or Great Lakes VB Ctr.

Volleyball Tournament
Rules

Please be at your assigned court 20 minutes prior to the start of each scheduled match.

Warm-up time:
o
1st match (8:00 am) – 3 minutes (visitors), 3 minutes (home) and 2 minutes
shared serving
o
All other matches 2-2-1

Warm-up and Game balls will be provided.

5th & 6th Grade Levels will use volleylite balls.

Pool Play: Rally scoring to be used for all sets…2 sets to 25…do not need to win by 2…

Play-off Matches: Rally scoring to be used for all sets, 2 out of 3 format. 1st and 2nd
sets to 25 points must win by 2. 3rd set if needed to 15 points must win by 2 points.

Net serves will be allowed throughout the tournament.

No limit on number of serves by a player.

Each team will have a max of 2 time-outs per set.

Seeding places will be determined as follows:





Number of sets won
Point Ratio (Points earned –vs- points allowed)
Head-to-head results
Coin flip
Each team MUST provide a parent to do the book or keep score.
