Over the last 5 years, circulation, visits and
program participation have doubled while
funding has decreased 10%.
Our long-awaited renovation – with an
entrance, elevator and staircases that will
make our library accessible to everyone –
has been planned and funded.
Construction will take place in 2016.
The Friends of the Bradley Beach Public
Library raised more than $50,000 toward
the renovation.
Collaboration with the Bradley Beach
Elementary School and the Recreation
Department brought the library outside
our building.
Our entire community came together for
The First Walkathon.
Innovative programs – our independent
summer reading, the Art Show and Essay
Contest, Little Free Libraries – continued to
enrich life in Bradley Beach and
neighboring communities.
Library membership exceeds 6,000 in a
town with fewer than 5,000 residents.
