Students in year 7 who are attending
Lowood State High School next year are
invited to attend their Electives Day on
Thursday 22 May. Permission forms are
due back on Monday 19 May.
Chappy Week
Next week is Chappy Week. We are lucky
to have Mrs H as our chaplain. Mrs H is an
active member of our school community.
She organises a number of different
activities for the children, helps out
where needed and runs our cooking
program. To help cover the costs of these
activities we are holding a free dress day
on Monday of next week. Cost to wear
free dress is a gold coin donation. Please
make sure children wear appropriate
clothing and footwear.
Principal’s Meeting
Di will be off campus on Tuesday of next
week to attend a principal’s conference in
Brisbane.
Pie Drive
LOWOOD KINDY FETE
The next fundraiser for the P&C is a pie
drive. Order forms will go home at the
beginning of June. Orders and money are
due by Tuesday 17 June. The pies will be
available for pick upon Friday 27 June
(last day of term).
When: Saturday 24 May
10am – 3pm
Lots of stalls and fun for the
whole family.

Movie Night
The P&C is hosting a movie, dinner and PJ
night on Friday 13 June from 6pm – 9pm.
Cost will be $5 for 13 year olds and under
and $10 for anyone over 13 year of age.
This will cover the cost of your meal.
Drinks will be available separately for $1.
Dress code: pyjamas
Under 8s Day (repeat)
This year Minden State School is hosting
an Under 8s Day event to which we have
been invited. More details regarding this
will be sent home closer to the time.
