The mission of the Gilbert Youth Football League (GYFL) is to provide a positive and
enjoyable learning experience for youth, teaching Sportsmanship, Fair Play, Integrity,
Honor, Respect, Loyalty, Personal Courage, and Dedication through the game of football.
GYFL provides a comprehensive program based on the core values of age appropriate
coaching and encouragement with a focus on the fundamental skills of football. We believe
it is essential that the overall mission be accomplished through growing and nurturing a
respected organization guided by values-based choices and parental involvement. This
League was formed and is operated under the premise that the best interests of the players
comes first and will be free from any adult compulsion for power and glory. Any and all
efforts undertaken by the League will support the following as its one and only priority:
