UKTI Green Building & Eco-City Outward Mission to China
Beijing (March 25) & Xi’an (March 27)
UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) at the British Embassy Beijing is proud to annouce
the 2015 green building and eco-city outward mission to Beijing and Xi’an led by Sir
Michael Bear, UK Special Envoy for Sustainable Urbanisation to China.
The mission will be focused on identifying business
opportunities and provide UK delegates access to
decisions-makers of China’s national and local
developers throughout a two-day event in Beijing and
Xi'an. The mission will also involve building relationships
with key influencers of relevant central government
Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development
(MoHURD) and local government equivalents and is an
excellent occasion for companies to get an update on
the latest market trends.
Participants will have an opportunity to present during
seminars and 'Green is Great' receptions and will be
involved in high level panel discussions on Garden
Cities, Green Buildings, Smart Cities and
Regeneration both in Beijing and during the
delegation’s visit in Xi’an, to which we will invite an
audience consisting of China’s top developers, design
institutes and political decision makers.
Subject to a charge, delegates will also have the
opportunity to exhibit at the 11th International conference
on Green and Energy-Efficient Building & New
Technologies and Products Expo (IGEBC) from 24th-25th
March 2015 in Beijing, an annual flagship event hosted
by MoHURD.
This mission is targeted at UK companies in the
Sustainable Urbanisation supply chain, including master
planning, architectural design, green buildings, urban
regeneration property service providers, and smart
technologies etc.
Participation for UK delegates will be free of charge
(booth costs at IGEBC pavilion excluded).
