ENTRY FEE AND FORMAT the entry is $220 per team, per event. Teams will be 2 persons per boat. Boat numbers will be randomly selected after closing date for sign up. Anglers who sign up for more than one event will keep their boat number for the series. Series will be scored on a point scale with 1st place receiving 60 points and each team will drop one point from there. The series champions and runner up will be awarded a cash prize at the end! Points will be on the best 3 events fished, with a minimum of 2 event participation to qualify for team standings. FISHING All events will be open to all of Ohio’s Lake Erie waters. Anglers will be responsible for following all state and local laws and regulation. The State law is 2 rods per angler. There will be only one bait per rod. No sliders, 3 ways, etc. Radio use, cell phone, or other forms of communication will result is an automatic disqualification. Anglers may not come in contact with any other person, or vessel, during event. Combining fish with other teams is prohibited. Any disabled boat should contact tournament director by phone or radio and situation will be addressed. SIGN IN/ BOAT INSPECTION/ SAFETY Boats will report in prior to event to receive boat number and live well/cooler inspections. All participants will wear an approved PFD anytime boat is above trolling speeds. All boats must have liability insurance. All boats must have a USCG or BMA plate attached by manufacture showing max weight and horsepower. All USCG and state regulations and laws must be met. WEIGH INS After docking, one angler from each team must immediately report to weigh station with their top 5 fish. Fish DO NOT need to be alive to weigh. One fish will be weighed for big fish, and the remaining 4 will be combined for your total. Ties will be broken on each team’s big fish. There will also be a cash side pot for big fish! PARTICITPATION ELIGABILITY AND SUBSTITUTES Captains must be at least 18 years old. Any co angler under the age of 18must file a waiver form. The field will be considered full at 60 boats. A substitute co angler may be used, but must be reported to the director 24 hours prior to the event. Changing teams will not be accepted for any reason. The director has the right to deny any application for any reason; nor will a reason be given to any applicant denied. SEVERE WEATHER/ REFUNDS In the event of severe weather an event may be canceled. Due to events scheduled on Sundays there will be no blow days scheduled and a draw will take place. Prize winnings and points will be awarded to teams as if it was and event POLYGRAPH Anyone who has knowledge of another boat breaking any tournament rule, state law, or local law, should immediately bring them to the attention of the tournament director DECRETELY. All issues/ concerns brought up will be kept confidential. All anglers are subject to a polygraph examination. Any angler who cannot pass a polygraph will be permanently disqualified from all events with no refund. There are loop holes in all tournament rules. Questions should be brought up prior to events and all decisions made by the director will be considered final. PAYOUTS All payouts are determined by number of teams entered. This will be 100% pay back to the anglers. Posted below is a 60 boat full field payout. This is subject to change.
