- Works closely with current HWHC Management
Committee.
- Set team on game day and decide on rotation of
reserve players.
- Ensure team follows current Hockey WA rules:
Affiliation Rules; and
Premier League Rules; or
Provisional & Metropolitan League Rules; or
Master League Rules.
- Arranges training program for team/s.
- Received Fairest & Best Voting slips for year
(from Manager) and work with Executive Officer.
- Work with Captain and Manager on
programming team umpiring duties for season.
- Provide support to Captain, Vic Captain, Manager
and all players.
- Contact point between committee and team.
- Continue to keep record of players and games on
spreadsheet.
- Works closely with current HWHC Management
Committee.
- With consultation with Coach completed game
card.
- Main contact between umpires, opposition team
and club spectators on game day if necessary.
- Ensure game card is signed by both umpires on
game day and copies retained for future
reference if required.
- Enter scores into system on game day (Note:
Fines may be issued by Hockey WA if scores are
not entered within the prescribed timeframe.
For any fines issued, arrange payment of fines
from team funds).
- Work with Coach and Manager on programming
team umpiring duties for season.
- Attends team training sessions and provide
support where necessary.
- Provide support to all players.

- Encourages players to attend /
support club functions.
- Work with team Captain and
Team Manager to arrange team
functions. Includes end of season
team function.
- Provide articles for club

- Collects player’s “end of year function”
contributions after each game (assist with
planning event).
- Steps up as captain if/when captain away.
- Support captain & players.
- Attends team training sessions and provides
support where necessary.
- Supports committee in making
hockey available to all no matter
what commitments they have
and what skill level they are
- Encourages players to attend /
support club functions.
- Work with team Captain and
Team Manager to arrange team
functions. Includes end of season
team function.
- Provide articles for club
newsletter.
- Works closely with current HWHC Management
Committee.
- Work with Coach and Captain on programming
team umpiring duties for season.
- Ensure all players have paid, or made
arrangements to pay, yearly fee with assistance
from Coach and Manager.
- Distributes and collects Fairest & Best voting slips
for year – give to Coach after each game.
- Assist coach with rotation of reserves on game
day.
- Assist Captain with obtaining signatures from
Umpires on game day.
- Ensure all player received club notifications – via
email, flyer or word of mouth.
- Supports committee in making
hockey available to all no matter
what commitments they have
and what skill level they are
- Encourages players to attend /
support club functions.
- Work with team Captain and
Coach to arrange team
functions. Includes end of season
team function.
- Provide articles for club
newsletter.
- Works closely with current HWHC Management
Committee and pass on information onto
Coaches, Captains and players.
- Ensure all teams follows current Hockey WA
rules:
Affiliation Rules;
Premier League Rules;
Provisional & Metropolitan League Rules;
Master League Rules.
- Works closely with Hockey WA and provides
regular updates to committee.
- Monitor fee payments of all players and follow
up on non- payments asap. Work closely with
club registrar.
- Arrange trophies for club presentations.
- Provide support to Captain, Vice Captain,
Manager and all players.
- Main contact between committee and teams.
- Assist committee to promote, develop and move
the club forward.
- Supports committee in making
hockey available to all no matter
what commitments they have
and what skill level they are.
- Encourages players to attend /
support club functions.
- Provide articles for club
newsletter.
If the team does not have a Team Manager then the Vice-Captain to take on the duties of Team Manager.

Note: All club coaching staff and players are welcome to attend any Management Committee meetings.
Please keep an eye on club website for dates of HWHC Management Committee meetings. If you have any
items to discuss with the Management Committee, please email your respective Executive Officer and the club
Secretary with your item/s and any paperwork to be discussed.
