Team Registration Form
BASKETBALL 2016-2017
Teams from outside the KIDSPORTS playing area (Out-of-District) will be allowed to enter
KIDSPORTS leagues provided they meet all eligibility requirements and will commit to playing all
games, home and away, according to KIDSPORTS rules. Registration Deadlines: October 14th
for 1st-2nd grade teams and December 2nd for 3rd-8th grade teams. And Dec. 9th for High School
teams.
Out-of-District team registrations consist of:

Team Fee payment
2.
Team Roster with names, verified grade, and school attending.
3.
Completed individual registration for each child by each parent on-line under
“OUT OF DISTRICT” here:

OR as a last resort a completed KIDSPORTS registration paper form signed by parent/guardian
for each player on the Team Roster (encourage parents to register on-line).

KIDSPORTS has a limited number of gyms and normally orders equipment and uniforms to outfit only
projected in-district teams with a small margin of error. Out-of-District teams should plan to acquire their
own uniforms and equipment. Middle school age groups should arrange to have acceptable gym space
and time with referees available for half of the total number of regular league games. KIDSPORTS may be
able to provide some or all of these resources on an as-available basis. An “Out-of-District Resources” form
must be completed as soon as possible and signed off if KIDSPORTS can provide the resource requested.
Additions to the Team Fee will be made for those resources.
KIDSPORTS does not provide practice facilities for out of district teams. KIDSPORTS is not responsible for any
costs that you may incur to rent your own practice facility.
KIDSPORTS RESOURCES
(Only available when approved by the applicable manager)
These costs will be added to the Team Fee if the resource is provided by
KIDSPORTS. Example: You have a sixth grade team. You don’t have a gym
available to play your home games. KIDSPORTS agrees to let you play all your
games in Eugene-Springfield facilities. Your additional charge would be $100 for
Facilities and $200 for Officials – a total of $950. (Note: KIDSPORTS will not provide
officials for games scheduled out of the Eugene-Springfield-Pleasant Hill area.)
