Dear Parents and Carers,
As part of our London topic, and to celebrate the great year we have had, we would like to take the children
to Greenwich Park to enjoy a day of activities outside. We will be sketching the London Skyline from the
Observatory, going on a ‘London’ themed treasure hunt in the park and having our lunch and playing in the
playground.
We would also like to invite parents to join us from 1-2.30pm to play some games with the children in the
park (football, rounders, frisbee etc). For this, we will be based in the fields off Bower Avenue (exact location
will be given on the day via Class Dojo.)
The children will leave school at 9.30am and we hope to arrive back at John Ball by 3:00pm. Children
will be dismissed from school and sent home as per their normal form of transport.
We will be walking to and from Greenwich Park.
Your child will need a packed lunch. No fizzy drinks, foods containing nuts or glass bottles please. If your
child receives free school meals and requires a school pack lunch please indicate on the slip below.
Please complete and sign this slip and return it to the school by Friday 30th June.
