If you feel that your balance is not what it used to be then these classes are for you. Move it or Lose it are easy to follow exercise classes for older people based within our Sheltered Housing Schemes. The classes aim to help you feel fit for life and get your vitality back. If you have Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) or other associated respiratory conditions the these classes are for you. Low intensity exercises in a safe and friendly environment to help reduce your symptoms and improve your independence. (Referral from your local Health Professional required). Better Balance Class Better Balance is a mixture of chair based and standing exercises to improve your strength, balance and increase your confidence. (Referral from your local Health Professional is required) Rehab Tai Chi Rehab Tai Chi is designed to improve posture, motor control and gait function in the form of gentle exercise, that also combines deep breathing and relaxation techniques. Cardiac Rehabilitation Phase IV Healthy Lifestyles (Pool Based) If you are currently on the 12-week Exercise Referral Scheme then these classes are for you. Low impact exercise in the water which will focus on injury recovery and gerneral all round fitness. If you have had a cardiac event or any other heart related condition(s) then these classes are for you. Low intensity exercises in a safe and friendly environment, designed to help aid your recovery and improve your independence and wellbeing. (Referral from Phase III required).
