AMSI Intern is an innovative national program working across industry,
building links between universities and organisations.
Our program provides large organisations and SMEs with high-end analytical
expertise and is an alternative, cost effective solution for a research
challenge or problem facing your business.
Postgraduate students, along with their university supervisors, come from
all disciplines to partner with industry through short‑term (4–5 month)
tightly focused research internships.

Program Costs
The fully funded model is for large enterprise and government
agencies. Internship costs include:
• $3000 per month paid to the student for the duration of the internship
• $5000 paid to the Academic Mentor for participation in the program
• $5000 paid to AMSI Intern for project management and pre-placement training
• R&D tax rebate may apply.
