L33 T HAx0 R Tips for New Players - Broadway

l33tHAx0r has been a huge success so far and some players (Hax0rs) have really started to master the game
discovering keywords in the brochure, venue and on the website.
We wanted to give new players a helping hand so here are some tips on how you can start scoring, and how
you can reduce other players’ scores and level the playing field!
Keywords
Although l33tHax0r is derived from l33tspeak we don't expect you to know it. Most keywords are in plain
English. Some of these are the things we know you love about Broadway - the films, the actors and directors.
Simply start tweeting about them to @Broadway Cinema and you will start scoring.
For example, a tweet like this will score points: @BroadwayCinema we loved Submarine from Richard Ayoade,
Paddy Considine was amazing too!
The highlighting character
Every week there is a special highlighting character that can be used to increase the points you get for using a
keyword. Just use the special character around the word or phrase you think is a keyword and it will increase
the points you score. The current highlighting character is ¬
For example: @BroadwayCinema we loved ¬Submarine¬ from ¬Richard Ayoade¬, ¬Paddy Considine¬ was
amazing too! will increase the points you score in your tweet.
Our final tip is about the #takeDown hash tag. If you use this hash tag in your tweet @BroadwayCinema and
mention another player you will take points from their score. You can mention as many players as you wish in
your tweets. But beware, you can only use this once a week!
For example: @BroadwayCinema #takeDown @BrendanOliver would remove 40 points from his score
Alternatively: @BroadwayCinema #takeDown @BrendanOliver @BrendanOliver @BrendanOliver
@BrendanOliver @BrendanOliver would remove 200!
