ine Creek would like to wish
everyone a happy and safe Mardi
Gras! This year, Fat Tuesday will be
held on February 12.
ot only is it Mardi Gras, but two
days later you get to show your
significant

love them
for
Valentines

will be
running a
special on February 14. All couples who
come out together will be able to play for a
cart fee only which is $13 each. So, on
February 14, bring that special lady/man in
your life to Pine Creek to spend some
quality time together and enjoy each other’s
presence!
H
igh School Golf Season has started
back up again and we have many
kids that are getting into golf from
Purvis High
School and
Forrest
County
High
School. We
want to wish
the best of
luck to both
teams and
hope they will represent Pine Creek very
well when they travel to different
tournaments! We ask our members and
regulars to encourage these kids to play golf
rather than discourage them!
W
e have a tournament scheduled
for February 23. A group from
Camp Shelby will be here for a
fun get together. It is not a big group so the
course will not be closed.

how good or bad you are. There are players
of all skill levels in this tournament and we
will put you with a team accordingly. If you

O
n March 18, 2013, Pine Creek will
host the 3rd Annual Wounded
Minutement of Mississippi golf
tournament. On this Monday in March the
course will be
closed to all with
the exception of
the people
playing in the
tournament. This
is our biggest
tournament of the
year as we will
have a morning
and afternoon
shotgun that will
use all of our golf carts for both tee times.
Pine Creek donates the whole course along
with our staff and do not make anything off
of this tournament. Last year our efforts
helped raised 8,933 for three qualified
Wounded Minutemen of Mississippi. This
year we want our efforts to raise even more!
If you would like to donate toward a good
cause we have sponsorship forms in the
clubhouse. Entry forms will be put out
closer to the date of the tournament. Thanks
for everyone’s support!! GOD BLESS
AMERICA!
