So let’s summarize quickly.

Let’s now look at the buttons which give you access to the tools and
functionality within the IOIVU/KEWL.
You can view notices posted by the course lecturer by clicking the Notice
Board button.
You can check mail (archived) and send a personal mail using this button.
The Course Documents button gives you access to course documents.
You can also request documents to be added to the list as the course
proceeds.
The Discussion Forum allows you to view and post messages/questions for
other participants to the course.
The discussion forum will also be used to post course notices.
The Realtime Chat consists of a conventional text chatroom, a
Whiteboard, and the Kewl Instant Messenger (previously mentioned).
Note: Slow network speeds make it difficult to use these tools.
The Learner’s Lounge, with My personal space where you can edit your
course settings. Also a Jokebook, Study skills, a writing centre, access
the hottub/chatroom.
