College of Engineering, Pune's Team Gets Title Sponsorship of Force
Motors for Baja SAE 2015
The annual ATV vehicle competition is the dream of every Mechanical Engineering student,
and fabricating a powerful vehicle is possible only with an excellent sponsorship. Team
Nemesis Racing, the official participating team from College of Engineering, Pune, went into
celebration when Force Motors announced its Title Sponsorship from the college for this
event yet again.
It is evident that this is the third time when Force Motors has been associated with the local
winners. Baja SAE India is a national level competition where teams from various
engineering colleges participate. Each team has to design, fabricate and validate an AllTerrain-Vehicle having a single seating capacity. The ATV has to meet many other
regulations as mentioned by SAE India.
Each team is scored and graded according to various aspects at the time of 3-day event.
Each team is made to pass through a large number of rounds, and the winning team is given
the title along the various benefits. Various other titles are also announced, and the vehicles
with best innovations are awarded.
Team Nemesis has been the winner of the events of the previous two years’ events. In 20132014 event, they bagged 8 awards and set a national record, which is highly difficult to
break. The Managing Director of Force Motors is pleased with the association of their firm
with the team and expects to carry the winning streak that they have already been
achieving so far. The team captain is thankful to Force Motors for the financial help they are
providing, which makes them capable and reliant to fabricate the vehicle.
