Supervision Chaperones Camp Schedule/Classes Lodging Important Dates Q&A 6th Grade Science Camp will teach and engage students about: The natural world - Having an understanding of nature inspires environmental responsibility. Human impact on the environment - Human actions can have positive impacts on natural ecosystems. Ourselves and our relationships with others – Learning to live and work in a community are important life skills. Overview: Three days, two nights (Wednesday-Friday) High interest, engaging, hands-on instructional activities led by teachers and experienced camp staff All activities are STEM based and meet 6th grade state and national standards Other non-instructional activities include: recreation time, cabin time, whole group skits, and campfire activities Overview: Cost: Roughly $135 per student $85 per chaperone Cost Includes: -lodging (more later about lodging) -all meals and snacks (buffet style) -all activities -transportation -tuition to the Aspen Creed Outdoor School- ACOS Supervision Supervision and safety are our #1 priority. Chaperones arrive at 7:00am Return from Camp- Friday, February 19th at approximately 1:30pm Prohibited Items: Cell phones Cameras MP3 players, ipods or gaming devices Liquids (aside from water) Pocket knives Any item prohibited in our district code of conduct is also prohibited at camp. Teachers will be taking pictures that will be available to students upon return.
