We will also stress the importance of things BEYOND BASKETBALL, such as the importance of team play and attitude. We feel that our camp has been successful in past years because of enthusiastic, positive staff members and young people who want to learn and have fun playing basketball. This summer’s camp will have a different format. We will emphasize fundamentals during warmup and focus on games and shooting. Campers will be put into teams. Teams will work together to learn game procedures and strategies. Ways to be a good player and teammate will be emphasized. There will be contests for teams and individuals. We will use successful coaches and players as lecturers. The campers will be given individual instruction from the staff as they work to improve weaknesses and develop strengths. Our goal is to provide a fun, educational, and challenging experience. With the instruction, camp shirt, and basketball deal we believe we offer a quality camp. We hope that you join us for a fun week of basketball! Camp director is Rick Keltner, Hays High Mens Basketball Coach May 30-June 1 2017 Dear Parents and Campers: Schedule and Details:
