Overview
This is the maintenance screen for the Location/Firms table. This table is built
and updated by CBP through ABI. The Location/Firms code is required for
every location from which imported merchandise can be released.
ABI Cargo Release transmission requires the use of the Customs’
Firms/Location codes when reporting the location of goods. Use of the code is
mandatory for all transmission of cargo release data or whenever Entry
Summary data is certified for cargo release purposes.

Maintenance drop-down menu at the top of the page:
The Location/Firms Maintenance page is made up of three parts:
1. The Search (top of the page)
2. The Results grid (center of the page)
3. The Edit section (bottom of the page)

The Results grid shows the results of the search. You can scroll up and down
the list using the Scroll Bar at the right. To download the Results list to a CSV
formatted file (spreadsheet), click the Download

When you highlight a record, the detail will display in the Edit area at the
bottom of the page.

This is the FIRMS location code. This is a
unique code associated with this location.
Every location from which imported
merchandise can be released is
represented by a unique FIRMS code.
ABI Cargo Release transmission requires
