Tournament Brochure - Meadow Lakes Golf Course

Registration of Players
Inclement Weather
There are several places to register your
golfers at Meadow Lakes. Depending on the
weather, you may wish to use the outside
patio by the golf shop. For inside
registration, arrangements can be made to
use the lounge or foyer. If players are
playing individually, registration can be done
in the golf shop. We recommend the
tournament director arrive at Meadow Lakes
at least one hour prior to the first scheduled
starting time.
Although rare, Mother Nature can
occasionally make it difficult to start or finish
a tournament. Our inclement weather policy
is as follows: If the tournament has played
more than three holes but less than twelve,
you will be charged for 9 holes. If more than
twelve holes are played, you will be charged
for the full 18 holes.
Tee Time Arrangements
Our facility has 18 holes of championship
golf. You can schedule a 9 or 18 hole event.
Tee times are scheduled every ten minutes.
Depending on the size, date, time, and
availability, a shotgun start may be possible.
Please make sure to inform your players of
their tee times in advance.
The Restaurant
Food and beverage options are available to
be included into your tournament package.
To inquire about rates or to make food and
beverage arrangements, please contact our
Restaurant Manager at 541-447-7640.

Payment
There are several options for tournament
payment. You may use cash, check, Visa,
Discover, American Express or Discover
card. We prefer that you pay for all of the
tournament charges in one lump sum, rather
than the players paying individually. Of
course, if carts are being paid for on an
availability basis, payment in one lump sum
will not be possible for that portion of the
tournament charges.

Tournament Entry Form
Number of Golfers
The tournament entry form is an important
part of ensuring a successful tournament. All
pertinent information should be included on
your entry form. Players will be able to
decide whether to play or not based on the
information provided. Players fill out the
entry form and return it to an appointed
representative. The entry form needs to be
completed and posted six weeks before the
date of the event. Meadow Lakes’
professional staff is happy to assist with the
creation of the tournament entry form.
One of the most important aspects of
planning and budgeting for your tournament
is the number of players. Staff needs to be
updated on the number of players
periodically leading up to the event, and we
will need to have a guaranteed number of
golfers three days prior to the tournament
date. This is the minimum number of
players that you will be billed for. We will
make every effort to accommodate more
players, but under certain circumstances, that
may not be possible. We need to have the
responsible party email or fax the complete
list of players, including the order of play, at
least two days prior to the tournament.
Sample:
Power Carts
Meadow Lakes has 50 carts available for
daily use. The carts fees are $15 per rider for
18 holes and $9 per rider for 9 holes. If
additional carts are needed, we are able to
order more at a rate of $20 per rider. The
number of players riding will also need to be
guaranteed three days prior to the
tournament. If you do not wish to guarantee
carts, we can rent them out on an availability
basis on the day of the tournament. If the
tournament is a shotgun with all players
riding, the carts will be staged for the shotgun
with hole assignments and player names
posted on the carts. Keys will be distributed
ten minutes prior to the shotgun start.
Driving Range
We offer a complete practice facility
including putting, chipping, and pitching
greens as well as a full size driving range.
You can incorporate the cost of the driving
range into your tournament if you wish, or
have golfers pay on an individual basis. Use
of the putting green is complimentary.
Specialty Events, Scoring and Prizes
Specialty events can include closest to the
pin, long drive, long putt, hole in one
insurance, or any number of ideas that you
may wish to include in your tournament.
Our staff is happy to help with the scoring
and allocation of prizes if you wish. Scoring
can be done inside in the lounge area, or
outside at the large scoreboard. The golf
shop has a full line of apparel and
equipment to accommodate your event. Gift
cards are also available that can be used in
the restaurant and golf shop.
