Educational goals and aims The course is intended to provide students with knowledge of the history of medicine and dentistry, and the intellectual sources and traditions in medicine. Special attention is paid to the cultural, philosophical and scientific aspects of medicine and dentistry, and the ways in which changes in culture and intellectual and political life led to the developments in medicine and dentistry throughout the history.
