They offer a private transport service for anybody who would like to book it. The
minimum cost for the use of an ambulance is £209.00 and this is dependent on the
length of journey, how long the appointment will take and whether or not you need
more than 1 person for support. Time works from when they leave the depot in

The Healthcare Travel Costs Scheme
Website:
http://www.nhsbsa.nhs.uk/
Although treatment on the NHS is free at the point of delivery, there may still be
some costs (for example, your journey to hospital). However, check your eligibility to
see if any of the cost can be reclaimed, which should ease any added stress.
There is an Ask Us page which can help:

te-group.do
If you can't find what you're looking for in Ask Us, you can contact them directly.
Their contact centre is open 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 3pm on
Saturday and they offer a telephone translation service if English is not your first
language.
