The Point Cook Cricket Club is seeking experienced cricketers to join our progressive coaching team for
season 2017/18.
The club is eager to progress its way through the grades of VTCA cricket and providing quality coaching
for our playing group is one of the ways we intend to make this happen. We are also keeping an eye on
the future by developing our many junior players and helping them progress through the ranks. The club
fielded 12 junior teams in 2016/17. Off field, we are a vibrant club with top class playing and training
facilities and excellent social rooms.
We are looking for proven senior cricketers who have the ability to take on leadership roles both on and
off field to support our senior coach. A proven playing and coaching record and current coaching
accreditation will be an advantage.
The ideal candidate should also be able to demonstrate an ability to organise training and a commitment
to preseason as well as Tuesday and Thursday night training sessions; a desire to lead by example and
to mentor young players; strong communication skills; and a positive approach to all aspects of cricket.
Remuneration for this position is negotiable for the right people.
